Your Favorite Pancakes

I've been making these pancakes since I was a little girl & I've never stopped! These simple pancakes can be dressed up any way you wish or kept sweet, uncomplicated & wonderful as they are.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of Flour

  • 2 Cups of Milk

  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • ⅛ Tsp Cinnamon

  • ⅛ Tsp Allspice

  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder

  • ½ Tsp Baking Soda

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Preparation

  1. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda & spices.

  2. Mix in the milk until smooth

  3. Add eggs one at a time

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat

  5. Melt the butter in the skillet. Allow it to slightly brown.

  6. Add the butter into the pancake batter & stir

  7. Use ½ cup of batter for large pancakes & ¼ cup for small pancakes.

  8. Cook pancakes until bubbles appear on the batter, flip & cook for about a minute more.

  9. Serve with your favorite fruit, syrup or honey.

Tips

  • You can replace regular milk with buttermilk or your favorite plant milk 1-1

  • If you don’t eat dairy, omit the butter, but use vegetable oil in the pan (about 2 tablespoons).
