I've been making these pancakes since I was a little girl & I've never stopped! These simple pancakes can be dressed up any way you wish or kept sweet, uncomplicated & wonderful as they are.
Ingredients
2 Cups of Flour
2 Cups of Milk
1 Tsp Salt
⅛ Tsp Cinnamon
⅛ Tsp Allspice
2 Tsp Baking Powder
½ Tsp Baking Soda
2 Large Eggs
2 Tbsp Butter
Preparation
Mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda & spices.
Mix in the milk until smooth
Add eggs one at a time
Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat
Melt the butter in the skillet. Allow it to slightly brown.
Add the butter into the pancake batter & stir
Use ½ cup of batter for large pancakes & ¼ cup for small pancakes.
Cook pancakes until bubbles appear on the batter, flip & cook for about a minute more.
Serve with your favorite fruit, syrup or honey.
Tips
You can replace regular milk with buttermilk or your favorite plant milk 1-1
If you don’t eat dairy, omit the butter, but use vegetable oil in the pan (about 2 tablespoons).
